As ServersFirst, our network operations centers are the backbone of our business. Our customers count on the speed, reliability and redundancy of our infrastructure and our mission is to expertly manage and continue to build upon our world-class hosting facilities. We use multiple Tier 1 network providers for a choice of key Internet backbone routes, with BGP routing to send and receive your data out the fastest possible route. Our data center features multiple, redundant fiber routes for maximum network flexibility and reliability.

Multi-homed Connectivity. We employ three upstream providers into our data center utilizing a high-availability CISCO BGP4 multi-homed routing architecture. Our Internet connections incorporate multiple high-speed lines including redundant, full 100Mbps circuits with three Tier-1 Carriers (Verizon/MCI, Bell and BigPipe). Our peering arrangements with our upstream carriers ensure that no connection is over utilized and we can increase circuit capacities in very short order.

Network Monitoring and Alert Notification. We maintain an aggressive monitoring and alert notification system that tells us immediately of any trouble with our connections and/or the servers on our network. We also run traffic monitoring systems to give us on-going statistics of all network activity.

Security Features. Our highly secure infrastructure includes multiple firewalls, video surveillance, motion detectors, reinforced door locks, building security guard and other physical security features.

Power Management, HVAC and Backup. Our servers will not shut down upon power failure due to our sophisticated power management system that includes UPSs, Diesel Generator, and automatic transfer switch. We have the ability to operate indefinitely during a power failure and maintain a one week supply of fuel on-site. Our Data Center air conditioning units are also powered by our backup power system and we employ a Power Engineer to help ensure the reliability of our power management, HVAC and backup systems.
